We have two types of front loading kiln, our EZ Fire Pro range and our Champion range.
The Champion is our premium kiln range, designed to last as well as perform. We would expect one of our Champion Kilns to give 30 + years of service, such is the quality of design and materials, as a result, offering you a more economical kiln. These kilns have heavier weight bricks, so can take knocks and scrapes more easily, should there be more than one person responsible for loading the kiln.
I'd recommend a kiln from our EZ Fire Pro range if you are the sole user of this kiln as it is designed for professional use and offers faster cooling times than our Champion range. It features lightweight bricks for this purpose so with careful loading, is a great asset to any studio. If there will be more than one person loading and taking care of the kiln, our Champion range has heavyweight bricks, so is a more hardy kiln.
As always, we also like to be competitive with other kilns on the market so we made a cheaper range, our Easy Fire Pro range, which is still a top quality kiln, though with some tweaks and uses lightweight bricks, as opposed to the heavyweight bricks in the Champion, which means it offers faster cooling and that lower price tag. As the bricks are lighter weight, they are more susceptible to wear and tear. With careful loading and using good practice when using the kiln, it isn't usually an issue. As these kilns have the lighter weight bricks, they also offer faster cooling times.
